A 2010 graduate of Chavez High School in Houston, Texas…Averaged 23.5 points per game during her senior campaign…She was selected as the 2009-10 District 20-5A MVP and also earned the Houston Chronicle’s Girls Athlete of the Week honors on Jan. 3, 2010 after averaging 33 points during a four- game span at the prestigious Alvin Holiday Classic…First-ever recruit signed by Coach Wilson…Soliz received a scout’s grade of 81 (out of 100) by ESPN.com and was ranked among the top shooting guards in the country…She was also courted by several mid-major programs from across the country…Also competed in volleyball, earning two letters…Was named Tournament MVP and All-Academic Athlete.

Siarra was born Dec. 8, 1991 in Houston, Texas…Majoring in Education…Siarra goes by the nickname of Superstar…She first hit the court when she was in the sixth grade…One word that best describes her personality is strong…Soliz’s inspiration is her trainer Arturo Zuniga because he assisted her through the process of becoming a premiere athlete…Her greatest accomplishment as a player before becoming a Lady Panther was being named District MVP…After graduation, Soliz intends to become a teacher.
