PVAMU:  Three-year letterwinner who’ll be expected to provide leadership and depth on the defensive line…had a career 2011 season statistically and should improve on those numbers due to experience in the interior of the defensive line.

2011:  Had a career season with 35 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack…apart of a defensive line that finished second nationally in sacks and sixth in tackles for loss…began the year with three tackles versus Bethune-Cookman…followed it up with five tackles and a tackle for loss in win over Texas Southern on Sept. 10…tallied three tackles versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff including a half-sack…finished with a season-high eight tackles and a half-sack at Southern on Oct. 8…also forced a fumble against Jaguars…closed out the 2011 campaign with three tackles apiece versus Jackson State, Alcorn State and Alabama A&M.

2010:  Logged 10 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack with a quarterback hurry…began the season with two tackles versus TSU in Labor Day Classic…had a half-tackle for loss against Grambling State…recorded his first sack of the season at Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Oct. 7…had two tackles versus Southern and a season-high four tackles in home finale win versus Alcorn State.

2009:  Finished with four tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack…netted his first career sack versus Texas Southern in the annual Labor Day Classic…had a half-tackle for loss at Alabama State…garnered two tackles and a half-tackle for loss versus Mississippi Valley State.

2008:  Redshirted.

High School: A two-sport athlete in high school…a member of his high school’s honor roll for three consecutive years…member of all-league and all-district teams…won both indoor and outdoor track championships.
