2020-21 - (GP: 16/GS: 16):  As a sophomore Heard posted .431 field goal percentage......she was .390 percent from the 3 pt line....going 23-59......she led the team with a .852 free throw percentage......Heard averaged 10.3 ppg......4.4 rebounds.....2.0 assist.....1.0 steals and 0.56 (16) blocks per game.  Her best game was against Alcorn State (3/6/21) scoring 23 points.... six (6) 3-pt shots made......five out of six free throw made.....and four steals.

2019-20 - (GP:31/GS:9): The true freshman saw action in all 31 games this season averaging 16.4 mins per game......Heard averaged 4.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.2 (6) blocks per game.  Her best game was when she scored 18 points against Mississippi Valley (1/27).

Previous to PVAMU: Heard is a 5-10 guard/forward from Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, La.  She averaged 15.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 3.7 steals per game as a junior.  Heard was voted to the All-District first team and was a Class 5A All-State Second-Team selection. 
 
"Kennedi is an athletic long guard," said Pugh.  "She can shot the three and her talent is untapped.  I think once she gets on this level, Kennedi will realize her full potential.  She has very good size for a guard and you can't teach size.  We have high expectations for each of these players."
