Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Hannah Sampson is a Senior Kinesiology major from Houston, Texas, and a graduate of Sconzo Early College High School. She chose Prairie View A&M University for its rich history and convenient location close to home. Driven by a passion to help others in their recovery while staying connected to the sports she loves, Hannah joined the sports medicine crew as a Student Athletic Trainer Aide.

Hannah believes that urgency is the single most important skill an athletic trainer aide can possess. She considers football the most interesting sport to work with, and her most memorable experience on staff was covering the spring game, which allowed her to view game-day operations through the eyes of a trainer rather than a fan. Five years down the line, Hannah aims to complete physical therapy school, with an ultimate dream job of becoming a Pediatric Physical Therapist. Outside of her studies and athletic training duties, she enjoys reading, eating tacos, listening to Fridayy, and watching her favorite movie, The Princess and the Frog. Her favorite holiday is Christmas for the quality time it brings with extended family.
