Biography
Na’lani "Lani" Willis, a junior from Port Arthur, Texas, is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology at Prairie View A&M University. She graduated from Cypress Creek High School and has been involved in sports all her life, which led her to combine her passion for athletics with her interest in the medical field. Lani's favorite movie is Spider-Man: Back Home, and she enjoys listening to Don Toliver. Seafood is her favorite food, and she loves Thanksgiving because it brings delicious food and quality time with family. In her free time, Lani enjoys dancing.
Lani's most interesting experience as a student athletic trainer aide has been working with the tennis team. She believes that compassion is a crucial skill for an athletic trainer aide to have. One of her most memorable moments was witnessing the football team win and celebrate together. In the next five years, Lani hopes to work with a major professional sports team and gain valuable experiences. Her dream job is to become a professional athletic trainer. Lani chose Prairie View A&M after hearing about its strong program and learning that many people she knew had great experiences at the school.
