Adams is a junior transfer in her first year as a pitcher for Prairie View A&M University, bringing experience, resilience, and competitive grit to the circle. A Tulsa, Oklahoma native, Adams transferred to Prairie View after beginning her collegiate career at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where she gained valuable game experience and continued to develop her craft.
Adams, affectionately known as “Kay,” credits softball with teaching her the importance of persistence—an attribute that defines both her athletic and personal journey. Inspired by her older sister, who introduced her to the game, Adams has carried that passion with her at every level, including a memorable opportunity to play alongside her sister during her final collegiate season at UAPB.
She lists the USA Hall of Fame Stadium in Tulsa as her dream place to compete, noting it as the site of her first “big stage” game. Off the field, Adams enjoys journaling and prioritizing self-care, and she aspires to become an occupational therapist while one day owning her own softball club.
Adams chose Prairie View A&M for its authentic environment and supportive culture, and she continues to grow as a student-athlete while contributing to the Lady Panthers’ success.
