Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Leila Cravens is a Sophomore Kinesiology major from Katy, Texas, and a graduate of Morton Ranch High School. She chose Prairie View A&M University for its unique culture, welcoming vibe, and the wealth of opportunities it offers its students. Leila initially joined the team to prepare for athletic training, but after stepping outside her comfort zone and watching a major bowl game from the sidelines, she developed a deep appreciation for the behind-the-scenes effort and dedicated herself to equipment management. Her most memorable moment so far was traveling to Atlanta for the MEAC Championship.

Believing that time management is the most crucial quality for an equipment manager, Leila aims to secure an NFL equipment management internship within the next five years, with an ultimate dream job of working in facility operations. Outside of her work with the program, she enjoys styling hair, eating tacos, and listening to Lil Baby and Mariah the Scientist. Her favorite holiday is her birthday because it gives her a chance to cater to herself, and the most interesting athlete she has worked with so far is Eric Zachery.
