Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Kobby Taylor is a Computer Engineering major from Fort Worth, Texas, who chose Prairie View A&M University for its top-tier engineering program and ideal location—far enough to enjoy independence, but close enough to head home when needed. A member of the Army, Kobby brings a strong work ethic to the program, where he aims to sharpen his videography and video editing skills.

An avid sports fan who supports the San Francisco 49ers and LeBron James, Kobby's favorite sport to cover is football. His dream assignment would be behind the camera at the iconic Red River Rivalry, and looking ahead to the 2026 football season, he is most excited about winning games and traveling with the team. Outside of academics and film, Kobby loves spending time with family, especially during Christmas when everyone can gather together. His hobbies include videography and video editing—with a dream skill of instantly mastering DaVinci Resolve. When it comes to entertainment and snacks, his all-time favorite movie is Big Hero 6, and he loves fresh fruit like mangos and pineapples.
