Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Adam Atwell is a graduate student at Prairie View A&M University, playing the position of punt returner and majoring in Finance. Hailing from League City, Texas, he graduated from Bay Area Christian School.

Known by his nickname “Double A,” Adam is a big fan of Morgan Wallen and lists Moneyball as his favorite movie. He loves In-N-Out and enjoys the lights and spirit of Christmas, which he calls his favorite holiday.

In his free time, he enjoys playing golf. His gameday ritual includes listening to Travis Scott to get locked in. He believes one of the greatest challenges athletes face today is staying consistent in all aspects of the game.

His most memorable moment in sports was winning back-to-back state championships in baseball. Looking ahead five years, Adam hopes to be a SWAC Champion and Celebration Bowl Champion. His dream job is to become a portfolio manager and eventually run his own company.

Adam chose Prairie View A&M because the coaching staff made him feel like he belonged, and he wanted to finish his athletic career in the Greater Houston area.
