Ashton Ojiaku is a sophomore safety from Richmond, Texas, majoring in Computer Management Information Systems at Prairie View A&M University. He graduated from Foster High School.
Ashton’s most memorable moment in sports was winning district MVP his senior year of high school. On game days, he starts with prayer to prepare mentally and spiritually.
His favorite entertainer is Rod Wave, and his favorite movie is Paid in Full. He enjoys seafood and values Christmas as a time to spend with family.
In his free time, Ashton likes gaming, working out, and shopping. He believes the greatest challenges athletes face today are outside distractions and negative voices.
Five years from now, Ashton hopes to win a championship, earn All-American honors, and be drafted into the NFL.
He chose Prairie View A&M because he wanted to be part of a program focused on developing him as a player and helping him reach his goals.
