Allan Baugh

  • Title
    Football Analyst

Allan Baugh enters his first season at Prairie View A&M University as a defensive analyst, bringing a strong foundation of collegiate playing experience and a high football IQ to the Panthers’ coaching staff.

In 2023, Baugh played a key role on the defensive line at Valdosta State, appearing in all 13 games with five starts. He totaled 17 tackles, including nine solo stops, 2.5 tackles for loss, and two quarterback hurries. His best performance came in the NCAA playoff game against Lenoir-Rhyne, where he recorded a season-high five tackles. His presence in the trenches was a steady force for a defense that competed at a high level throughout the season.

Before Valdosta State, Baugh began his collegiate career at the University of Colorado, redshirting his freshman season in 2021. A highly regarded recruit out of Florida’s St. Thomas Aquinas High School, he was rated a three-star prospect by both 247Sports and ESPN. During his time at STA under head coach Roger Harriott, Baugh was part of a dominant program that compiled a 22-1 record over his final two seasons, including a perfect 15-0 mark and a Florida Class 7A State Championship and GEICO National Championship his junior year.

Initially a defensive lineman, Baugh showcased his versatility by switching to the offensive line as a senior to meet team needs, helping lead a balanced offensive attack that averaged 171.6 rushing yards and 115.3 passing yards per game. On the defensive side as a junior, he contributed 12 tackles for loss and five sacks in a key rotational role. Defensively, the Raiders allowed just 10.0 points per game during his senior campaign, including six shutouts.

In addition to his achievements on the football field, Baugh was a standout wrestler, posting a 17-8 record, and was recognized for his academic dedication as a member of the honor roll.

Baugh now brings his comprehensive playing background, leadership skills, and dedication to player development to Prairie View A&M as he begins his coaching journey.
