Todd Middleton

Todd Middleton

Todd Middleton joined Prairie View A&M football in 2018 as defensive line coach.  When coach McDowell was hired Middleton was elevated to the Defensive Coordinator in January 2022.  He continues to oversee the defensive line.

In his first season, he produced a pair of All-SWAC players in defensive ends Quinton Bell and Willie Green, who led the team with 7.5 sacks and 5.0 sacks, respectively. Green had a career-best 2.5 sacks as part of a nine-sack game recorded by the defense in a win over Grambling in the State Fair Classic.

Middleton spent the previous two seasons at Florida A&M. During that time, Elijah Price combined for 23 tackles for loss, among the best in the MEAC.

A graduate of Wake Forest, Middleton's professional resume includes stints at four-year colleges, junior college, high school and professional football.
