Corey Swiney Jr., a redshirt freshman defensive back and safety from Houston, TX, is majoring in Biology at Prairie View A&M, with previous experience from Shadow Creek High School and the University of North Texas.

His favorite movie is Bad Boys, and he enjoys chicken, rice, and gravy, along with other soul food. Christmas is his favorite holiday because of the family gatherings, food, and games. Corey’s hobbies include working out, engaging in business ventures, and spending time with loved ones.

On game days, Corey listens to Rod Wave to get in the zone and vibe with the music. He views balancing football with personal life as one of the biggest challenges for athletes today. A standout moment for him was experiencing his first college game.

In five years, Corey aims to graduate college and achieve financial success. His dream job is to be an entrepreneur or orthodontist. He chose Prairie View A&M for its proximity to home and the strong relationships he has built with the coaches.
