Biography
Jayven Jackson is a sophomore linebacker at Prairie View A&M University, majoring in Kinesiology. A graduate of Cypress Springs High School in Houston, Texas, he is known for his energy and physical presence on the field. One of his most memorable moments came when he delivered a hit so powerful that the entire stadium erupted with a collective “OUUUUUU,” a moment that solidified his love for the game.
On game day, Jayven sets the tone by listening to chill music throughout the day before switching to hype tracks once the pads come on. Off the field, he enjoys swimming and streaming Call of Duty: Warzone. His favorite entertainer is Kevin Hart, and The Lion King tops his list of all-time favorite movies. He also loves home-cooked meals, especially those prepared by his mom, and treasures the holiday season of Christmas for the time it allows him to spend with loved ones.
Looking toward the future, Jayven’s goal is to leave everything on the field while pursuing his dream of becoming a head coach for a Texas football program. He chose Prairie View A&M because of its culture, history, and the excellence it represents, aligning with his values and long-term vision.
