Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Ratliff is a wide receiver from McComb, Mississippi, currently a senior at Prairie View A&M University. Pursuing a major in Agricultural Science with a focus on Animal Science, Jeremiah’s athletic journey began at McComb High School and continued at Southwest Mississippi Community College.

Outside of football, Jeremiah enjoys working out and gaming, finding balance and relaxation in these activities. His favorite entertainer is Lil Durk, and he has a fondness for the movie "Princess and the Frog." Pizza is his go-to comfort food, and Christmas is his favorite holiday, celebrated with joy and a focus on honoring Jesus’ birthday.

Jeremiah has a unique game day ritual of walking the field barefoot, which he believes connects him more deeply to the game. He identifies mental health as one of the greatest challenges athletes face today, underscoring the importance of psychological well-being in sports.

One of his most memorable moments came during his senior year of high school when he scored the game-winning touchdown against a rival school, breaking a long-standing losing streak and cementing his place in local sports history.

Looking ahead, Jeremiah aspires to become a standout wide receiver in the professional league within the next five years. His dream job is to work as a veterinary technician, reflecting his passion for animal care.

Jeremiah chose Prairie View A&M University because of his admiration for the school and his desire to contribute to winning the SWAC Championship and the Celebration Bowl. His commitment to making a statement and achieving excellence on and off the field drives his enthusiasm for his time at Prairie View A&M.
