Malachi Williams, a 6’0”, 205-pound defensive back from San Diego, California, is a junior at Prairie View A&M University majoring in Finance. A graduate of Cathedral Catholic High School, Williams has established himself as a disciplined and driven athlete on and off the field. Wearing jersey #00, his game day ritual always begins with prayer and a lap around the field, a routine that keeps him grounded and focused.

His favorite entertainer is Kevin Hart, and his favorite movie is Friday. Pasta is his go-to meal, while Christmas stands out as his favorite holiday because of the family traditions and togetherness it brings. In his free time, Williams enjoys making music and playing video games.

One of his most memorable athletic moments came in high school when he won All-State honors and was named Defensive Player of the Year on the same day—an achievement that continues to fuel his competitive fire. He believes one of the greatest challenges for athletes today is expressing their values and beliefs, a principle he strives to live by.

Looking ahead, Williams’ dream job is to become a starting safety in the NFL. Beyond the game, he hopes to build a career where he can make a meaningful impact, continue to grow, and help others do the same. He chose Prairie View A&M for its culture and community, where he feels both supported and inspired to chase excellence.
