Skylon Jean-Louis is a redshirt junior safety from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is majoring in Finance at Prairie View A&M University and graduated from Edna Karr High School.

His favorite entertainer is Druski, and he enjoys the Fast and Furious series as his all-time favorite movies. When it comes to food, wings top his list. Interestingly, his favorite holiday is “other people’s birthday,” showcasing his unique sense of humor. His hobbies include cooking and spending time with his siblings.

For his gameday ritual, Skylon listens to old R&B music to lock in. He believes one of the biggest challenges for athletes today is staying focused on the big picture amid distractions.

His most memorable football moment was scoring his first touchdown ever. Looking ahead, he hopes to finish school and earn accolades in his football career. His dream job is to become an entrepreneur owning multiple businesses.

Skylon chose Prairie View A&M because he loved what he heard about the university and saw it as a place where he could thrive both on and off the field.
