Tiago Sumbo is a senior defensive tackle from Katy, TX, who previously played at Seven Lakes High School. His athletic journey has been distinguished by significant achievements, including scoring an impressive 80-yard touchdown. Tiago's favorite entertainer is Jackie Chan, and he finds inspiration in the movie Maze Runner. His favorite food is African cuisine, and he cherishes Thanksgiving for the opportunity to connect with family and enjoy special moments together.

In addition to football, Tiago enjoys reading books and playing video games, which he considers vital for maintaining peace and relaxation. His game day ritual involves a mix of these activities to help him stay focused and calm.

Tiago believes that one of the greatest challenges for athletes today is the pursuit of a championship, a goal he is determined to achieve. Over the next five years, he aims to graduate, secure a championship, and advance to the NFL. His ultimate dream job is to continue playing football professionally. Tiago chose Prairie View A&M because the school offered him an opportunity to succeed and is conveniently close to home, aligning with his personal and professional goals.
