Warren Shankle is a senior linebacker from Missouri City, TX pursuing a degree in Business Management at Prairie View A&M. His favorite entertainer is Druski, and he enjoys the movie Get Rich or Die Tryin'. Wings are his favorite food, and he cherishes Valentine’s Day because it coincides with his birthday. In his free time, Warren enjoys video games, hunting, and fishing.
On gameday, Warren’s ritual is to pray for focus and strength. He believes that mental health is one of the greatest challenges facing athletes today. His most memorable moment in sport was winning a state championship in high school in 2020.
Looking ahead, Warren aims to mentor young players and teach them to play the game with passion. In five years, he hopes to be in a position where he can influence and guide future athletes. His ultimate dream job is to become a head coach for a Power Five school.
Warren chose Prairie View A&M because it provided him with the opportunity to be himself and grow. The supportive environment and the chance to be part of a community that values individuality and development were key factors in his decision.
