Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Hannah Garza is a senior at Prairie View A&M University, majoring in Biology. She hails from Lyford, Texas, and attended Lyford High School before attending PVAMU. Hannah plays softball and wears jersey number 30.

Softball has taught Hannah many valuable lessons, with the most significant being the importance of working hard in everything she does. Her favorite movie is Crazy Rich Asians, and she enjoys listening to Cody Johnson. Hannah loves Chipotle and considers Thanksgiving her favorite holiday. For her, it’s a time to spend with friends and family, reflect on the blessings in her life, and, of course, enjoy the food. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, hiking, and exercising.

One of her most memorable moments in softball was winning the SWAC Championship. Looking ahead, Hannah hopes to help people with their health and inspire others to make positive changes in their lifestyles. Her dream job is to become a Physician Assistant. Hannah chose Prairie View A&M because it provided her with the opportunity to continue playing the game she loves while pursuing an education for herself.
