Prairie View A&M University Athletics

A'isayah Brown is a junior sprinter from Houston, Texas, competing in the 200m, and 400m. Brown has already contributed to a SWAC Championship in the 4x400 relay and looks to continue adding to the program’s winning tradition.

Brown is majoring in Finance and credits Usain Bolt as the inspiration behind his track journey. One of his most memorable moments in the sport was winning a state title in high school, a milestone that continues to fuel his competitive drive. He is motivated by his faith, his desire to set new goals, and the pursuit of breaking personal records. He believes the biggest challenge for athletes today is maintaining strong mental focus.

Outside of track, Brown enjoys creating content, loves Shrimp Alfredo, and lists Scarface as his favorite movie. His long-term goals include helping the Panthers win more SWAC championships and pursuing a career as a financial advisor. Brown chose Prairie View A&M because of the rich history and tradition that made the university feel like the right place to grow as both an athlete and person.
