Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Bryce McFadden is a dedicated sophomore track and field athlete from Round Rock, TX, specializing in the 400 and 200-meter sprints. His strength and speed on the track have earned him a personal best of 47 seconds in the 400-meter event, a time he is determined to improve. Bryce is currently pursuing a major in Management Information Systems at Prairie View A&M University, where he balances academics with his athletic pursuits.

Bryce graduated from Stony Point High School, where his passion for track and field was ignited. While he doesn't point to a single inspiration for running track, his deep drive to improve and compete at the highest level is evident. He recognizes the importance of maintaining both physical and mental health, understanding that this balance is essential for long-term success in athletics.

Outside of training, Bryce enjoys playing video games, and his favorite food is spaghetti. His all-time favorite movie is Baby Driver, and he admires Tee Grizzly as his favorite entertainer. Christmas is his favorite holiday, as it allows him to spend quality time with his family and create lasting memories.

Looking ahead, Bryce aspires to finish college and earn his degree, laying the foundation for a career as a Cyber Analyst. He chose Prairie View A&M University for its welcoming and familial atmosphere, which he felt from the moment he arrived during orientation. The strong sense of community and the connections he made during his visit solidified his decision to become part of the PVAMU family.

Bryce’s goals for this season include running a 45.9-second 400 meters and qualifying for regionals and nationals. His passion for track is driven by the desire to be the best, and his faith in Jesus Christ continues to motivate him to push beyond his limits. He is committed to excelling in both his academic and athletic endeavors, representing Prairie View A&M with pride and determination.
