Biography
Bryce McFadden is a junior sprinter from Round Rock, Texas, competing in the 200m and 400m. He has already earned an indoor third-place conference medal and enters the season with impressive personal bests of 47.41 in the 400m and 21.42 in the 200m. His goals for the year include breaking 46 seconds in the 400m and qualifying for regionals and nationals.
McFadden is majoring in Management Information Systems and was inspired to run track by his mother and brother. His most memorable moment in the sport was breaking 47 seconds for the first time as a freshman at Rice University. Faith plays a major role in his journey, and he cites Jesus Christ as the source of his passion and purpose. He believes mental health is one of the biggest challenges athletes face today.
Outside of track, McFadden enjoys video games, reading, and eating his favorite meal—spaghetti. His long-term goals include becoming a cyber analyst and earning six figures in the cybersecurity field. He chose Prairie View A&M because it keeps him close to home while allowing him to grow both academically and athletically.
