Biography
De’Trevyon Goudeau is a freshman sprinter from Marshall, Texas, competing in the 200m and 400m. He enters his collegiate career with personal bests of 21.3 in the 200m, 47.34 in the 400m, and 1:57 in the 800m. This season, Goudeau aims to earn Freshman All-American honors, help the team win a SWAC championship, and earn NCAA recognition.
Goudeau is majoring in Kinesiology and was inspired to pursue track by Fred Kerley. His most memorable moment in the sport came when he won the 400m state championship in high school. Driven by a love for competition and a desire to succeed, he sees mental health as one of the biggest challenges athletes face today and relies on focus and determination to reach his goals.
Off the track, Goudeau enjoys playing games and completing side quests, and he loves pasta. His favorite movie is Cars 2, and he lists Kai Cenat as his favorite entertainer. Looking ahead, he hopes to become an Olympic champion and eventually return to his high school as a head track coach. He chose Prairie View A&M because of the tight-knit community and supportive environment.
