Biography
Devin Miller is a freshman track and field athlete at Prairie View A&M University, specializing in the high jump and 200 meters. With a personal best of 6'8" in the high jump and 21.9 seconds in the 200 meters, Devin has already proven to be a standout in his events. He is committed to further developing his skills as he aims to leave a significant mark on his athletic career.
Originally from Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas, Devin graduated from Bishop Lynch Catholic School, where he excelled in both track and field. His passion for track was inspired by his mother, who encouraged him to pursue athletics. Devin’s dedication to the sport is driven by his desire to make his family proud and to continue to push his limits.
One of Devin's most memorable moments in track and field came when he tied his high school high jump record and won a state championship in the 200 meters. These achievements fueled his passion for track and further cemented his goals for the future. Devin aspires to be a national champion and is determined to reach new heights in his athletic career.
Currently studying Civil Engineering at Prairie View A&M, Devin chose the university for its strong engineering program, which aligns with his academic and professional aspirations. In addition to track and school, Devin enjoys playing basketball and video games. His favorite food includes burgers, wings, and catfish, and his favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, mainly because of the delicious food and family time.
Looking forward to the season, Devin’s goal is to finish top 3 in the SWAC and continue improving both on the track and in his academic pursuits. He admires Kevin Hart as his favorite entertainer and cites Black Panther as his all-time favorite movie.
