Jabari Stocker, known as "JP," is a freshman track and field athlete from Coatesville, PA, specializing in the 400 meters and 800 meters. Jabari has a personal best of 48.5 seconds in the 400 meters, showcasing his speed and versatility. He is currently pursuing a major in Business Marketing at Prairie View A&M University.

Jabari graduated from Coatesville Area Senior High, where he began his track and field career. His inspiration to run track comes from a deep sense of faith, as he believes that "God did" in guiding his path in the sport. One of his most memorable moments came when he competed at nationals, a highlight that solidified his passion for track and field.

For Jabari, the energy and motivation that track brings are key driving factors in his passion for the sport. He believes that consistency is one of the greatest challenges for athletes today, as maintaining steady progress is critical to success. His ultimate goal is to improve with every race this season and to continue growing as an athlete.

Outside of track, Jabari enjoys photography and is a fan of mac and cheese, which he names as his favorite food. His favorite holiday is Black Friday, drawn to the excitement and deals. Jabari's all-time favorite movie is Alana, and his favorite entertainer is AB. Looking ahead, his long-term goals include building generational wealth and ultimately owning his own business.

Jabari chose Prairie View A&M University because of the welcoming atmosphere, which felt like the right fit from the moment he arrived. He is excited to continue his track career at PVAMU and to pursue his business aspirations.
