Marcus Lewis is a freshman from Houston, Texas, specializing in the steeplechase and 3K events. A graduate of Manvel High School, he is driven by goal-setting and consistency, with a memorable moment in his career being when he broke 2 minutes for the 800 meters for the first time. This season, Lewis aims to maintain steady performances while continuing to improve his endurance and race times.

Lewis is majoring in Accounting and draws inspiration from his father. He identifies time management as one of the biggest challenges for athletes today and relies on discipline and focus to balance academics and athletics. His long-term goal is to pass the CPA exam and pursue a successful career as a certified public accountant.

Outside of the track, Lewis enjoys watching Interstellar and his favorite food is Alfredo. Thanksgiving is his favorite holiday, as it allows him to spend time with family. With a passion for achieving goals and a commitment to excellence, Marcus is focused on both his athletic and academic success.
