Biography
Messiyah Forte is a freshman distance runner from Grand Prairie, Texas, competing in the 5K and 10K. A graduate of Cedar Hill High School, Forte enters the season with the goal of setting personal records in all of his events. His dedication and self-motivation have driven him to consistently improve and aim for a collegiate school record.
Forte is majoring in Finance and credits himself as his primary source of inspiration in track. One of his most memorable moments came when he broke his high school record. He believes that social media can present one of the greatest challenges for athletes today, and he stays focused on his goals to continue improving.
Off the track, Forte enjoys running, reading, and spending time with his family. His favorite movie is Fight Club, he lists Kevin Hart as his favorite entertainer, and he loves tacos. He chose Prairie View A&M because of the culture and the supportive environment it provides to grow as both a student and an athlete.
