Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Aerin Talley, also known by her nickname Abud, is a senior at Prairie View A&M University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She is from Spencer, Oklahoma, and previously attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville before transferring to PVAMU. Aerin plays shortstop for the softball team and wears jersey number 56.

Softball has taught Aerin that stats don’t define her, emphasizing the importance of perseverance beyond the numbers. Her favorite movie is Princess and the Frog, and she loves pasta. Aerin's favorite holiday is Christmas, as it provides an opportunity to reunite with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys online window shopping.

One of her most memorable moments in softball was winning the SWAC Championship. Looking ahead, Aerin hopes to achieve a promotion and the successful completion of a major project in her career. She dreams of becoming an aerospace engineer. Aerin chose Prairie View A&M for its top-tier engineering program, which aligns with her academic and professional goals.
