Aliyah Corrine Levert, a senior outside/right-side hitter from Austin, Texas, is majoring in Kinesiology at Prairie View A&M. She graduated from McNeil High School. Aliyah was inspired to play volleyball after discovering her own talent in the sport, which has afforded her opportunities to travel and gain valuable life lessons.

Her favorite all-time movie is Princess and the Frog, and she admires Keke Palmer as her favorite entertainer. Aliyah’s favorite food is tacos, and she enjoys Thanksgiving for its festive spirit and delicious food. Her hobbies include painting, reading, taking walks, and sleeping.

Aliyah’s passion for volleyball is driven by the desire to open new doors for herself and inspire those who might be watching. She views the challenges of consistently attending treatment and being mentally prepared to face adversity as significant issues for today’s athletes.

One of her most memorable moments in sports occurred during her senior year at a tournament in Kerrville, where her team won the championship and she received a medal for outstanding performance. This achievement boosted her confidence and potential for recruitment.

In five years, Aliyah aims to complete her education, possibly pursue a career in physical therapy, pay off her student loans, and travel. Although her dream job is not specified, she chose Prairie View A&M for its welcoming community, engaging activities, and proximity to home, which allows her family to support her throughout her collegiate career.
