Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Breayna Janae Jackson is a junior at Prairie View A&M, playing second base and wearing jersey number 13. She is pursuing a degree in Business Management and hails from Denton, Texas. Breayna graduated from John H. Guyer High School before attending Prairie View A&M.

Her favorite movie is Twilight, and she enjoys listening to Yelle Adams. Breayna’s favorite foods are chicken alfredo and seafood, and Christmas is her favorite holiday because it brings her close-knit family together. In her spare time, she loves watching movies and singing.

Softball has taught Breayna that failures don’t define her; it's how she bounces back that truly matters. Her most memorable moment in the sport was hitting her first home run. Looking ahead, she hopes to receive a championship ring in her career. Her dream job is to become an ultrasound technician.

Breayna chose Prairie View A&M for the HBCU experience, which she felt would offer her a sense of community and opportunity.
