Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Gabrielle Larson, known by her nickname Gabby, is a junior at Prairie View A&M University majoring in Kinesiology. She is from Chandler, Arizona, and previously attended Hamilton High School before transferring from Grambling State University. Gabby plays pitcher for the softball team and does not yet have a jersey number.

Softball has taught Gabby the importance of cherishing every moment because tomorrow is never promised. Her favorite movie series is Grown Ups, and she enjoys listening to PartyNextDoor. Gabby loves Italian food and considers Christmas her favorite holiday because it's one of the few times of the year when her whole family is together. When she's not on the field, Gabby enjoys hiking, sightseeing, exploring, and being outdoors.

One of her most memorable moments in softball occurred in high school when she was given the opportunity to pinch hit, despite pitchers not usually hitting. She hit a home run, and hearing her team rush out of the dugout while the stands erupted in excitement made the moment unforgettable. Looking ahead, Gabby aspires to open a gym, preferably one related to softball. Her dream job is to become a sports psychologist. She chose Prairie View A&M for its diverse class offerings and the welcoming, dedicated atmosphere that the university provides.
