Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Jordyn Ferrandino, also known as "New York," is a sophomore at Prairie View A&M University, majoring in Kinesiology. She hails from Queens, New York, and graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School. Jordyn plays outfield and wears jersey number #17.

The biggest lesson softball has taught Jordyn is to believe in herself. Her favorite movie is Princess and the Frog, and she enjoys listening to Kevin Hart for entertainment. Her favorite food is pasta, and Christmas is her favorite holiday because she loves the season.

One of Jordyn's most memorable moments in softball was winning the Brooklyn-Queens Championship in high school. In the next five years, she hopes to be working for a college or running her own business. Her dream job is to become a physical therapist, and she chose Prairie View A&M for its welcoming atmosphere and beautiful campus.
