Prairie View A&M University Athletics

PRIOR TO PVAMU: Barnes played at Hightower High school in Houston, Texas. She was an Academic All-Excellence award winner. Besides playing softball, Barnes was a basketball player and a track and field athlete. She was the co-MVP of the track and field team. 
 
Barnes played club ball for Texas Lighting (17U-14U), Texas Elite (16U-18U) and Illusions (18U).
 
She plans to major in Kinesiology

Where do you see yourself in five years? At the top of my physical therapist career, while also launching more things from my business
What made you choose Prairie View A&M? The community, it feels like home everyday 
What is your dream job? Being able to open up my own practice to teach ASL to kids with disabilities and their families
