Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Jayla Hollins, also known as Jay, is a sophomore at Prairie View A&M University majoring in Digital Media Arts. As a first-generation college student, Jayla brings passion, creativity, and ambition to the PVAMU Student Media Team. She enjoys working with design platforms like Canva and Adobe Illustrator to create engaging and visually striking content.

For the 2024–25 media season, she’s most excited about designing graphics that represent and celebrate PVAMU’s athletic teams. She hopes to build a strong work ethic, expand her skills in Adobe programs, and connect with other students who share her passion for media and creativity.

Outside of media work, Jayla enjoys crafting, drawing, and exploring both comfort foods and East Asian cuisine. Her favorite holiday is Christmas because of the cozy winter atmosphere and time spent with loved ones. Inspired by artist SZA and a fan of the film Forrest Gump, Jayla brings a thoughtful and artistic perspective to everything she creates.
