Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Taneal Coleman is a sophomore Mass Communication major from Grand Prairie, Texas. As a member of the PVAMU Student Media team, she brings a sharp eye for visual storytelling and a growing passion for media production. She uses a Canon R8 along with a 100–400mm lens, 18–135mm lens, and a pair of wireless Rode microphones to produce high-quality content. Taneal is especially excited about the stadium atmosphere during the upcoming 2024–25 season and looks forward to capturing the energy of game days through photos and highlight videos.

Her goal this season is to sharpen her video editing skills and push herself to produce even more polished, high-quality work. As a part of KPVU-TV, she’s already building experience in the field and hopes to use this opportunity to expand her skills and portfolio. Taneal is motivated to grow as both a creative and a communicator within the student media space.

Outside of media, Taneal enjoys playing basketball and taking photos in her free time. Her favorite movie is Shrek, and she looks forward to Christmas each year, especially for the music and the cozy winter atmosphere. A fun and unique fact about her: she was once ranked the fourth-best grocery sacker in the entire Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. With creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic, Taneal is ready to make an impact on the PVAMU Student Media team.
