Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Tatiyona Bridgewater is a junior at Prairie View A&M University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biology. Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and now living in Houston, Texas, Tatiyona brings a unique blend of creativity, leadership, and personal drive to the PVAMU Athletics Student-Media Team. She is also a licensed cosmetologist who offers beauty services on campus, combining her passion for self-expression with entrepreneurship.

She is excited this season to collaborate with different groups of individuals to achieve shared goals. Tatiyona looks forward to learning her teammates’ personalities and helping showcase their authentic selves through media. One of her main goals is to build strong connections and contribute to a supportive and creative environment.

Tatiyona is actively involved in several campus organizations. She serves as the Chapter Representative for Women In Pre-Med, Inc., Director of PR for the National Society of Black Women in Medicine, and Social Media & Historian Chair for Psi Chi International Honor Society. Additionally, she is the Director of Media for Over The 'Fluence (also known as Thee Influence), and a member of B-Global, Pink Panthers, and the Caribbean Student Union.

Her hobbies include doing hair, volunteering, going to the gym, cooking, and content creation. Her favorite movie is The Princess & the Frog, and she enjoys hot wings and celebrating Halloween—especially for the fall atmosphere and candy corn. When asked who her favorite celebrity is, she confidently says herself.
