Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Tyana Palmer is a senior Digital Media Arts major at Prairie View A&M University, originally from Dallas, Texas. With a strong interest in both athletics and design, Tyana is excited to bring her creative talents to the PVAMU Athletics Student-Media Team for the 2024–25 season. She looks forward to supporting the university’s athletic programs while combining two of her biggest passions—sports and visual design.

Tyana works primarily with Adobe software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, allowing her to bring a sharp, artistic eye to every project she takes on. This season, she’s focused on improving her design skills while learning how to operate in a more professional environment. She's also eager to grow personally by learning how to adapt to different spaces, people, and challenges.

Outside of her academic and media pursuits, Tyana enjoys sewing, arts and crafts, and digital sketching. Her favorite movie is The Princess and the Frog, and her go-to comfort food is flautas. Christmas is her favorite holiday because it’s the one time each year her entire family comes together. A fan of volleyball and the color royal blue, she also counts DC Youngfly as her favorite celebrity.

Tyana’s main goal while being part of the media team is to grow professionally and creatively—contributing fresh, original ideas while learning from those around her.
