Kaci Chairs, a grad student shooting guard from New Orleans, Louisiana, is currently pursuing her degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Physical Education at Prairie View A&M. Her journey in basketball started at Grambling State, where she developed her skills and passion for the game.

If Kaci could play one-on-one with any athlete, past or present, she would choose Candace Parker, whose impact on the sport and remarkable achievements serve as a significant inspiration to her. One of Kaci’s most memorable moments in basketball was reaching her career high with 17 points in a game, a highlight that showcases her scoring ability and dedication.

Kaci's passion for basketball is deeply rooted in the support and inspiration she receives from her brother and family. She recognizes that mental health is one of the greatest challenges facing athletes today and strives to maintain her own well-being a midst the pressures of the sport.

Outside of basketball, Kaci enjoys shopping and having fun, with seafood being her favorite food. Her favorite holiday is her birthday, a special day dedicated to celebrating herself.

Looking ahead, Kaci aspires to become a sideline reporter, blending her love for sports with a career in journalism. Her dream job is to work as a sports reporter, where she can continue to be involved in the sports world from a different perspective. She chose Prairie View A&M because it felt like the perfect fit, embodying the spirit of "Why not PV?" and offering a supportive environment for her academic and athletic goals.
