Laila Robinson, a freshman forward from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a major in Kinesiology, and an former player at Madison Prep.

Her most memorable moment in basketball came when she won a state championship during her freshman year of high school, a significant achievement that highlights her competitive edge and dedication. If given the chance to play one-on-one with any athlete, past or present, Laila would choose Michael Jordan.

Laila's passion for basketball is driven by a deep-seated love for the game and a commitment to her personal and professional goals. She acknowledges that mental health presents one of the greatest challenges for athletes today and strives to balance her own well-being with her athletic pursuits.

Outside of basketball, Laila enjoys shopping, which she considers one of her favorite hobbies. Her favorite food is hot wings, and she treasures Christmas for its proximity to her birthday, making the holiday season extra special.

Looking ahead, Laila aims to either become a physical therapist or a strength and conditioning coach. Her dream job is to work as a physical therapist, helping others achieve their best physical health. Laila chose Prairie View A&M for its vibrant culture, welcoming people, and the strong sense of community that the school offers.
