PRIOR TO PVAMU:Miss Simon comes to Prairie View A&M following a standout career at Heights High School in Houston.  The incoming freshman forward is  6'1 and was able to average 14.1 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 2.7 steals per game as a senior.  She also was named as a top 25 Texas High School Girls basketball Player for rebounds per game in 2021

When Heights head coach Kerrick Arrington was asked what makes Tierra special, he stated, “She has an attitude of not wanting to quit and not wanting to settle for less. She always wants more and when she gets to the next level she will be a whole different person, and that is what makes her what she is.”
