Brielle Naveen Moreno, also known as Brie, is a junior at Prairie View A&M University majoring in Business Management. She hails from Channelview, Texas, and graduated from Channelview High School. On the softball field, she plays pitcher and wears jersey number #2.
Softball has taught Brie that sometimes your best effort isn't enough, which has helped her understand that failure is part of life. What matters is getting up and continuing to push forward. Her favorite movie is any of the Harry Potter films, and she enjoys listening to Childish Gambino. When it comes to food, Brie loves sushi and pasta.
One of her most memorable moments in softball was her freshman year of high school when she helped her team win a playoff qualifier game, securing the first playoff appearance in 9 years for her school. This experience taught her the importance of playing for something bigger than herself.
In five years, Brie hopes to continue growing the sport of softball within her community, inspiring the next generation of players. Her dream job is to be a Public Relations Manager, and she chose Prairie View A&M for its competitive program and the support of the coaching staff, which she believes will help her reach her goals.
