Biography
2016-17 JR: - Bookman had a stellar outdoor performance at the SWAC Championships capturing a gold medal in both the 100 meter hurdles (13.61) as well as the 400 meter hurdles (59.61). Her time at the 90th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays (57.98) led to her qualifying for the NCAA West Regionals in both events.
She ran a personal best time of 57.84 in the 400H at the regionals, which her third place finish in the heat as well as time qualified her forn the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Bookman finished the season ranked 17th in the nation in the 400H
Bookman also competed in the World University Games in Taipei, Taiwan in the 400 hurdles finishing second in her heat clocking a time of 59.84.
2016-17 Indoor Track: During the 2017 Indooor SWAC Championship Bookman (8.49s) won the 60-meter hurdles obtaining a first place gold with the time of 24.44.
2015-16 SO: Participated in the 2016 NCAA Division I Track and Field West Preliminary Round qualifying for the preliminary round by virtue of her time (59.57) at Rice University. One of the top hurdlers in the SWAC, Bookman won three gold medals this past outdoor season including her second consecutive SWAC 400-meter hurdles title.
PQ - 200m 25.08 (SWAC Indoor Championship) 02/2016
2014-15 FR : Captured the 400-meter hurdle title as a freshman and assisted the team to a third place finish during the 2015 SWAC Track & Field Championship. Bookman's time of 13.93 in the 100-meter hurdles was good for second place in the SWAC Championship.
