Biography

Jordyn Hubbert is a senior track and field athlete from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, specializing in pole vault. She is currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology at Prairie View A&M University, where her dedication to athletics continues to shine.

Jordyn attended Baton Rouge Magnet High School, where she developed a love for running and eventually transitioned to pole vault in college. Her passion for track and field is rooted in a childhood love of running and the inspiration she gained from her father, who was also an athlete. She appreciates the discipline that track and field has instilled in her and continues to push herself to be the best.

One of Jordyn’s most memorable moments in track and field was when she and her relay team placed 9th in the nation at the Junior Olympics for the 4x100m relay. Growing up with the girls on her relay team made the experience especially meaningful.

Her favorite hobbies include making incense, crafting holistic healing products, reading, and spending quality time with loved ones. Jordyn is also passionate about serving the Black community, an interest that has shaped her career goals. She hopes to achieve financial freedom and continue making a difference in her community.

Jordyn was drawn to Prairie View A&M University for its exceptional track team, beautiful campus, and the opportunity to experience life at an HBCU. She is determined to maintain peace in her life while exploring different paths, refusing to limit herself to any one field.

Her future is open, but Jordyn’s goal is to continue growing, finding peace, and serving others, especially within the Black community.
