Biography
High School: Sharde was the state champion in the 100 meter hurdles her freshmen and junior year. She became a regional champion in the 100 meter hurdles. Her best time in 2009 was a 14.2. She was a regional qualifier in the 300 meter hurdles, with a time of 44.2. Also she was a district champion in 5 events: 100 meter hurdles, long jump, triple jump, 4X1 relay, and the 300 meter hurdles. Shared went to state all four years while in high school. She was also a Texas Relay qualifier all four years.
Personal: Sharde Bettis was born March 30, 1992. Her parents are Lashaon Brinkley and Ronald Bettis. Currently she is pursuing a degree in mass communications. Upon finishing school she plans to be a TV correspondent.
