Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Wil Jefferson is in his second stint as an assistant coach for the Prairie View A&M volleyball team and 11th overall season with the Lady Panthers. Coach Jefferson is no stranger to the volleyball culture here at Prairie View A&M University. He brings to the Prairie View A&M volleyball program numerous years of experience in playing and coaching the game of volleyball. Jefferson previously worked with the volleyball program from 1999-2002 under the leadership of the former head coach Alicia Pete. Jefferson returned to the program in 2014.

Prior to returning to Prairie View A&M University, Jefferson became a flight attendant and  simultaneously became a Police Officer for a couple of years. Jefferson received his degree in Criminal Justice with a Specialization in Juvenile Justice in December of 2015. Jefferson is truly no stranger to hard work and dedication.

Currently, Jefferson enjoys participating in numerous indoor volleyball tournaments. He is currently a USA Volleyball referee for the Lone Star Star Region. Jefferson continues to fly the friendly skies as his main career and has no children.
