Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Kenedy Massie is a sophomore health science major from Houston, Texas, representing Prairie View A&M as a 5'10" setter for the volleyball team. A graduate of Manvel High School, she was introduced to volleyball by her parents at a young age, and her passion for the sport is driven by its deeply team-oriented nature. For Kenedy, choosing Prairie View A&M was an easy decision thanks to the university's incredible culture and team atmosphere, and she takes great pride in representing the school. One of her favorite athletic memories is when her high school team won their final playoff game to advance to the state tournament, and when given the choice on the court, she prefers getting an ace over a game-winning kill.

Off the court, Kenedy enjoys a variety of interests and traditions that keep her grounded and connected with others. Her game-day routine always involves a pregame team dance in the locker room, fueled by her favorite pregame meal, an açaí bowl. When she has downtime, she enjoys watching her favorite television show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, or celebrating Christmas because of the family time, festivities, and gift-giving.
