SOPHOMORE: Allen had a team high 234 digs while averaging 2.1 digs per game in her second season. . . She was named “Most Outstanding Defensive Player”…Allen recorded a career-high 21 digs on Oct. 8 2012 in a 3-2 loss at Texas Southern…Allen served up a career-high five aces at Grambling on Oct. 2, 2012.
FRESHMAN: Allen had 166 digs and 1.6 digs per game her freshman season with the Lady Panthers.
HIGH SCHOOL: Allen played varsity volleyball all four years of high school at Nikki Rowe. . . Allen was selected for the 2nd team All-District. . . She was selected for the 1st team All-District her junior year. . . She was also named “Outstanding Outside Hitter” her junior year. . . Allen was an All-Star player and her team’s MVP her senior year.
PERSONAL: Allen was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on October 4, 1992. . . Majoring in Human Performance. . . She intends to pursue a career as a volleyball coach upon graduation.
