There, he coached elite-level players, including several top prospects from the Texas Class of 2025, helping shape their path to college baseball and beyond.
As a player, Sturges competed at Texas Christian University, Howard College, UTSA, Texas A&M University, and UT Rio Grande Valley, earning NJCAA All-American honors at Howard College and establishing himself as a versatile infielder and utility player throughout his collegiate career.
