Prairie View A&M University Athletics

Alicia Thomas has been with the Department of Athletics since April of 2014, serving as the Business Coordinator II, and is in charge of managing the departmental budget  

Thomas also manage student-athletes scholarships and the department contracts, and  ensuring all guidelines are met by the National Collegiate Athletic Association and Prairie View A&M University. 

Previously, Thomas worked in the Office of Financial Services at Prairie View A&M University for 10 years. She worked has the Procurement Card Specialist, Records Management Specialist, Payroll Specialist, Travel Assistant and Accounts Payable Specialist. Thomas was responsible for creating the department project plan for the implementation of the new LaserFiche imaging system. 

Thomas will serve as the HUB Committee chair for the upcoming fiscal year.
