Prairie View A&M head football coach Heishma Northern announced an additional signee Thursday afternoon as Birmingham, Ala. All-State cornerback Kenneth Jordan inked with the Panthers.

Jordan is a 6-0 cornerback from Birmingham's Wenonah High School and provides the Panthers with a shutdown option at cornerback.  He was a 2012 Class 5A All-State Team Honoree as a senior as teams avoided his side of the field.  Jordan was targeted only 12 times throughout the season and he made teams pay with a team-high nine interceptions.  He also led the team with nine passes defended while recording 40 total tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss.
